Welcome

A warm welcome to Saint Ann’s Church. Our website is under development so please keep visiting.

St Ann’s is a small but friendly church in which everyone is valued and welcomed.

The Grade One Listed Church of St Ann was built in 1767-1768 in a dignified English Renaissance manner from designs by William Newton, the most successful Newcastle architect of his day.

The new church was consecrated by Bishop Trevor on Friday 2nd September 1768.

Our Priest- in- Charge is the Reverend Canon Allan Marks.

Donations:

Saint Ann’s Church is a Grade I listed Heritage building of great beauty and significant history.
Maintaining the fabric is a constant challenge, and with only a small worshipping congregation, the burden is a heavy but joyful one to bear.
Any donations you might like to make towards the continued support of the fabric of Saint Ann’s Church building, or indeed the life and ministry of the worshipping community, would be most gratefully received.

If you would like to make a donation then please scan the QR code below or click on the link. This will take you to a secure connection with ‘Give A Little’.

We are most grateful.

Support the work of local foodbanks using local supermarket where donations will be delivered direct to foodbanks. If people want to make donations locally, I will try and do a weekly drop of donations to the Benwell Foodbank who distribute across the whole of the city, both east and west ends.
